Liars and how they use labels is a post about how false prophets want to identify as "one of the sheep," by using labels the sheep understand as being one of themselves, yet their actual lives prove them as liars.
bs57 Ye are Gods. I examine Jesus quoting Psalm 82 in John 10:34, where God Jehovah judges, "the gods". In this tract, I outline what is a false god in the Old Testament, and how they are not truly gods. God Jehovah, the Trinity, is the unique and only God that exists.
But in Psalm 82, God is judging "the gods," which are people who have the power of blessing a people under their control or causing them harm, (as or like a god). The right interpretation of this Psalm is that the "gods" in this Psalm are governors, rulers. God is in every plan and plot of our government, judging and condemning or blessing their every action. God grants men the power to rule and govern, but God will always be intensively judging their actions.
An article helps pastors and Christian workers in building a Christian Reference Library to use in producing sermons and classes. I introduce the new Bible student to three free Bible programs, and offer some considerations:

(3) When you cannot discern how much the author discusses the subject.

Alexander Campbell (1788-1866) was a U.S. religious leader and one of the founders of the Disciples of Christ and Churches of Christ. Born in County Antrim, Ireland, he was the son of Thomas Campbell (1763-1854), a Presbyterian minister who urged Christian unity. In 1807 Thomas Campbell emigrated to America, where he formed the Christian association of Washington, Pennsylvania, to promote “simple evangelical Christianity” as the way to church union. Following a breach with Presbyterianism he produced a Declaration and Address for the association in 1809. Alexander Campbell, after a year at the University of Glasgow, emigrated with the rest of the family in 1809 to join his father. Like his
father, he espoused Christian unity and emerged as the leader of a movement for religious reform. He began preaching, without a salary, in 1810 and married in 1811, settling in what is now Bethany, West Virginia. Biblical study led him and his followers to adopt baptism by immersion in 1812, and in 1813 they joined the Baptists; but tension on other issues led him to break with the Baptists in 1830. In 1832 Campbell’s followers, known as Disciples, or Christians (nicknamed Campbellites), joined Kentucky “Christians” under Barton W. Stone (q.v.) to form the Disciples of Christ, or Christian Church.

IN OUR PREVIOUS STUDY WE CONSIDERED THE FIRST BLESSING that comes to men by the way of the Cross-first, I mean in the line of human experience-the blessing of pardon. We attempted to listen reverently to this note of the great evangel the glad declaration that forgiveness for actual trespass is provided for men not merely on the basis of pity, but in righteousness, through the mystery of the Cross of Jesus.
We all are conscious how great a blessing this is, yet I think I speak for every person here when I say that we do not feel that it goes to the root of our need. Read more
