Definition: “Theology Proper” means the study directly of God, of His person, character, attributes, essence, etcetera.




This area of study is basically divided up into the following sub-areas:

Note that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are all sub-areas of God proper, but each should be in its own category because of the great volume of information about God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We include God the Father here simply because in comparison to the Son and the Spirit, there is less information on God the Father.
