pc05 Resisting Porn is a tract explaining why and how we resist seeing bad images, and the problems related to this. Topics: Seeing a Woman to covet her | We must be happy | This is why God sets the rules regarding sex very clear. | We must not covet your Neighbor's Wife | The Problem with Divorced People.
From the Tract: Job 31:1 I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?
Matthew 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: 28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
The problems of pornography fall into three main ones: (1) It is to sin against the Lord - One is coveting what is not his, and for God, coveting a woman is just as having sex outside of marriage (adultery or fornication). (2) It is to sin against your partner - One is disloyal, not faithful, to your partner. If one is not married, he is acting in impurity, youth passions ("Flee from youth passions" 2 Timothy 2:22) which is a sin. (3) It is to sin against oneself, against oneself.

Spiritual Change is our Goal is a post about what leaders and preachers should be focusing on in our churches. Making people into the image of Christ.
Topics: What should be our Focus | The Key | Change is our Goal | The Pastoral Requirement.
Excerpt: In the ministry of God's work, the laborers need to have a clear head and a very narrow focus in order to please God. We do not have the liberty to do what we want to do per se, but rather we are servants of God to fulfill His work in His way and in His timing. The work of God is clearly defined in the Bible as the salvation of souls and their subsequent sanctification.

There is an attitude within much of Christianity that sickness in any form is bad, and God does not have anything to do with it. For these Christians, they ask God to take the sickness away, and sometimes (as though it was their right to be health) that they demand God to remove their sickness. The reality of life is that they continue ill, and many have a crisis of faith over this. For them, God is impotent, or God does not love them. In other words, their confidence, faith, and love of God depends on God always sending them good things. But this is not how the Bible indicates life is. God uses calamity and sickness for His own purposes, and we have to understand this (and accept it). Please support our tract ministry by donating on the tract website (see sidebar).
